Oxy-fuel cutting machine
Bringing a used cutting machine into operation after two years on the production floor without documentation.
The challenge
A used oxy-fuel cutting machine had been purchased without documentation and had remained idle on the production floor for two years.
What I did
- Searched for manuals and technical documentation.
- Investigated how the machine operated and how to start it.
- Worked through the start-up process to bring the machine into operation.
The result
The machine was running smoothly approximately one month after I began working on it.
