Insulated bonded joints
Monitoring a new adhesive and production process, then turning the findings into practical work instructions.
The challenge
The earlier production process had problems with adhesive dripping and poor joint quality. A new adhesive and a revised production process were introduced to address those issues.
What I did
- Monitored the testing phase of the new adhesive and production process.
- Prepared an instruction manual based on the process.
- Compiled a report documenting the work and findings.
The result
The revised adhesive and production process addressed the earlier glue-dripping and joint-quality problems.
